Michael Finetti won two events Saturday to lead the Desert Oasis boys swimming team to a 113-72 win over Bonanza at Pavilion.
Arbor View’s girls swimming team won six of the eight individual swimming events Saturday en route to a 172-118 win over Faith Lutheran at Pavilion.
Deanna Barrera threw a two-hitter with four strikeouts as Centennial’s softball team beat Golden Valley (Calif.) in four innings at the National Tournament in Torrance, California.
Jordan Stinnett hit a tiebreaking two-run double in the top of the sixth inning, and Basic’s softball team defeated host Green Valley 8-6 on Wednesday.

Annie Damm and Kendra Reid went 3-0 in doubles Monday to help Bonanza’s girls tennis team edge host Sierra Vista 10-9 on a tiebreaker.
