Centennial needs a win over a Cimarron-Memorial team that is out of the playoff race to claim its first league title since 2002 and the No. 1 seed in the Northwest League.
The Northeast League title is on the line when Desert Pines travels to meet Las Vegas, and the regular season will wrap up in the Southweast and Southeast leagues.
Desert Oasis needs a win and help to reach the postseason from the Southwest League. Foothill and Chaparral will decide the Southeast’s situation on the field.
Garrett Castro threw a 6-yard touchdown pass, and Hector Barrios-Baez knocked home the game-winning extra point for Green Valley in a 24-23 win over Foothill.
Palo Verde looks to maintain its unbeaten record in Mountain League play against Centennial in the headliner of this week’s games in the valley.
All of the valley’s football games will be played Thursday this week, which has coaches and players squeezing all they can out of every minute to get ready.
The Bulldogs moved into USA Today’s Super 25 Region VI rankings at No. 15 after becoming the first team to put a blemish on Faith Lutheran’s record in a 0-0 tie.

Faith Lutheran tries to hang a second Northwest loss on Arbor View, while Southeast unbeatens Foothill and Liberty vie to take the outright lead.
The Friday game was suspended, and a review is underway by the Southern Nevada Officials Association and the NIAA. A double forfeiture is the likely outcome.
Centennial looks to avenge last year’s 36-7 loss to Faith Lutheran, strengthen its status as Northwest League favorite in one of the valley’s top matchups.
Shadow Ridge and Palo Verde meet with both looking for a 2-0 start in Northwest League play to headline key league games from across the valley.
Even with Centennial’s 17-14 win over Arbor View and Virgin Valley’s 14-7 victory over Boulder City factored in, the average margin among the 15 games was 34.5 points.
So much has happened, such as surprising teams, fantastic finishes and the opening of Class 4A Southwest League play last week that was quite an appetizer for the rest of the league openers.
