Trevor Meisner spun a six-inning one-hitter and struck out eight on Friday to lead host Bishop Gorman to a 10-0 win over Legacy in the Bishop Gorman Desert Classic.
Noah Gulley scored the go-ahead run on a squeeze bunt with one out in the bottom of the sixth inning Thursday to help Bishop Gorman’s baseball team to a 3-1 home win over Bellflower (Calif.) in the Bishop Gorman Desert Classic.
Megan Bocobo, Sanniyah Haye, Erin Thompson and Dubem Ezeanolue each won two individual events Tuesday to help Faith Lutheran’s girls track team to a 108-31 win over visiting Palo Verde.
Brandon Martin won two individual events and ran on the winning 400-meter relay team Tuesday to help host Legacy win a four-team boys track meet.
Western’s Jared Smith shot a 2-under-par 70 at Legacy Golf Club on Tuesday to win a Sunset League match.
Trinity Brandon was 2-for-3 with two triples and two runs Saturday to help host Arbor View’s softball team to a 9-3 win over Silverado.
Jessica Meza’s three-run double capped a four-run top of the eighth inning Thursday as Liberty’s softball team outlasted host Arbor View, 15-13.
Justin Watterson won two individual events and ran on a winning relay team to lead Coronado’s boys track team to victory at the Bishop Gorman Invitational.
