After having their three-year state championship streak snapped last season, the Panthers made a relatively easy time of winning the Class 4A state title.
Sparked by individual wins from Rome Odunze and Kyu Kelly, the Gaels wrapped up their second consecutive Class 4A title by scoring 99 points.
Centennial ran away with its ninth straight Class 4A team championship. The Bulldogs scored 126 points. Runners-up Carson and Sierra Vista each had 54.
Bonds, who also ran on the winning 400 relay team and finished third in the 100, helped Centennial build a big lead heading into Saturday’s events.
The host Rattlers got their revenge and another state title, downing Sky Pointe, 25-23, 14-25, 25-15, 25-22 on Thursday. It’s Mojave’s fifth championship in six years.
The Eagles still found a way to down top-seeded Del Sol, 25-19, 15-25, 25-22, 15-25, 15-13 in a Class 3A state semifinal Tuesday at Mojave.
Here are the all-region boys volleyball teams, as selected by coaches.

Abbie Evans belted a three-run home run in a seven-run sixth inning Friday that helped Moapa Valley’s softball team to a 12-5 win over Chaparral in the losers’ bracket final of the Class 3A Southern Region Tournament at Pahrump.
Aimee Garcia and Rose Pouch each won two individual events Thursday at UNLV to help Boulder City’s girls capture their seventh straight Class 3A Southern Region title.
