Durango’s baseball team plated three runs in the bottom of the second Friday and held on for a 4-3 home win over Faith Lutheran.
Amanda Sink threw a three-hitter and hit the game-winning home run with one out in the bottom of the sixth inning Tuesday as the Legacy softball team edged visiting Durango, 3-2.
Cierra Davis was 2-for-2 with a double and a run to help the Cimarron-Memorial softball team to a 6-3 win over visiting Silverado on Friday.
Justin Lee was 7-for-7 with four doubles, a home run and nine RBIs to help the Shadow Ridge baseball team earn a doubleheader split with visiting Spring Valley in the Bengal Varsity Tournament.

Adrian Ojeda and fellow senior Robert Razo each won individual state titles at Star of the Desert Arena, helping Green Valley capture its fifth consecutive team championship at the Division I state wrestling tournament.
Maureen Macato scored 18 points Thursday, and Rancho’s girls basketball team overcame a slow start to earn a 56-40 victory over host Coronado and clinch third place in the Southeast League.
Xavier Jarvis scored five of his 39 points in overtime to lift Green Valley’s boys basketball team to an 82-80 home win over Eldorado on Tuesday.
Jesse Vogel scored 20 points, and Arbor View’s boys basketball team edged visiting Cimarron-Memorial 63-61 on Thursday.

Centennial junior Karina Haymore won just two cross country meets all season.
Fortunately for Haymore, the second win came in the biggest race of the year.
