Here are the 2018 girls basketball honors, as selected by coaches.
Jacqueline Hillegas drilled the golden goal in the seventh minute of overtime to send the Gaels to their first region title game since 2013 after a 2-1 win against Palo Verde at Bettye Wilson Park.
Kylie Gibson had 17 kills, four aces and two blocks to help Bishop Gorman’s girls volleyball team win the Class 4A Sunset League with a 19-25, 25-15, 25-20, 25-15 home win over Durango on Friday night.

Braxton Bruschke hit a two-out RBI single in the bottom of the eighth inning Monday to lift Spring Valley’s baseball team to a 7-6 home win over Desert Oasis.

Jacob Godman scored the go-ahead run on Wesley Cosby’s squeeze bunt in the bottom of the sixth Tuesday to help the Palo Verde baseball team edge visiting Shadow Ridge, 6-5.
