Andrada Stanciu was 3-0 in singles Monday to lead Sierra Vista’s girls tennis team to a 10-8 win over visiting Durango.
Ben Gajardo went 3-0 in singles to help Desert Oasis’ boys tennis team to a 12-6 win over host Spring Valley on Monday.

Timothy Jeffries scored 27 points, including eight points in overtime, to lift Legacy’s boys basketball team to a 63-61 road win over Shadow Ridge on Tuesday.
Alexis Vanstory scored eight of her 11 points in the fourth quarter Tuesday to spark an 18-9 run as Chaparral’s girls basketball team rallied for a 52-44 win over visiting Desert Pines to take sole possession of first place in the Division I-A Sunrise League.
Kahlil DeRouen scored all five of his points in the final 30 seconds to lift Liberty’s boys basketball team to a 53-52 home victory over Basic on Tuesday.

The doubles teams of Laini George and Morgan Hawkins, and Abby Wilson and Caitlyn Stevenson each went 3-0 on Wednesday to lead Foothill’s girls tennis team to a 10-8 win at Basic.
