Alyssa Tygh tossed three touchdowns and ran for a score to power Palo Verdes flag football team to a 27-20 road win over Cimarron-Memorial on Thursday.
Ashley Lewis hauled in a 20-yard TD pass from quarterback Marissa Owens in the second overtime to give Basic’s flag football team a 6-0 home win over Legacy on Wednesday.
Bryan Montoya had two goals as Palo Verde’s boys soccer team earned a 4-0 home win over Shadow Ridge on Wednesday.
Hannah Ferrara had two goals and two assists, and Karissa Martinez and Sierra Vicente each had a goal and an assist to lead Arbor View’s girls soccer team to a 5-0 home win over Centennial on Wednesday night.
Arbor View’s Keith Williams led at the front of a pack of five runners early. Eventually, he managed to hold off PahrumpValley’s Bryce Odegard and Centennial’s Alexander Miller in the final quarter mile, putting in a good finishing kick to cross the line in 16 minutes and 13 seconds.
Gustavo Garcia-Reyes scored three goals to lead the Cimarron-Memorial boys soccer to team to a 4-1 home victory over Legacy on Wednesday.
