Dani Correa’s second-half goal powered the Virgin Valley girls soccer team to a 2-1 road victory over Boulder City on Monday.
The doubles teams of Katie Whalen and Makena Haugh, and Demarie Harris and Anne Wirthlin both went 3-0 for Arbor View’s girls tennis team on Thursday, and the Aggies beat visiting Bonanza 10-9, winning the tiebreaker 7-1.
Bonanza’s girls tennis team had two doubles teams go undefeated Thursday as the visiting Bengals edged Arbor View, 10-8.

Skylar Shannon and Samantha Difulvio each won two individual events Saturday to help Clark’s girls swimming team to a 166-128 win over Faith Lutheran at Pavilion.
Spring Valley 132-pounder Andres Garcia beat the Sunrise Region champion, the Sunset runner-up and last week’s Sunset Region champion to claim his first Class 4A state championship Friday at The Orleans Arena.
