Arbor View’s Keith Williams led at the front of a pack of five runners early. Eventually, he managed to hold off PahrumpValley’s Bryce Odegard and Centennial’s Alexander Miller in the final quarter mile, putting in a good finishing kick to cross the line in 16 minutes and 13 seconds.

Faith Lutheran’s boys swimming team edged Clark in the final event, and the teams finished tied with 145 points in a meet at Pavilion on Saturday.
Cassidy Ludwig won two events Saturday to lead Shadow Ridge’s girls swim team to a 165-121 victory over Arbor View at Pavilion.
