Losi Brown went 4-for-4 with a double and three RBIs and tossed a complete game, as Chaparral’s softball team beat visiting Boulder City 8-3 on Thursday, handing the Eagles their first Class 3A Sunrise League loss.
Marleena Mills went 3-for-4 with a home run and five RBIs to power Boulder City’s softball team to an 11-2 home win over Moapa Valley on Tuesday.
Selena Erickson was 4-for-4 with a double, four runs and six RBIs, including a grand slam in the bottom of the sixth inning, to propel Del Sol’s softball team to an 11-7 home win over Tech on Thursday.
Gizele Cascos fired a one-hitter and singled, tripled and drove in two runs to lead Tech’s softball to a 10-0 five-inning rout of host Mojave on Tuesday.
Michael Finetti won two events Saturday to lead the Desert Oasis boys swimming team to a 113-72 win over Bonanza at Pavilion.
Arbor View’s girls swimming team won six of the eight individual swimming events Saturday en route to a 172-118 win over Faith Lutheran at Pavilion.
Angel Jones went 2-for-4 with a double and three RBIs as Del Sol’s softball team held on for a 16-12 road win over Sunrise Mountain on Monday.
Faith Lutheran’s boys swimming team edged Clark in the final event, and the teams finished tied with 145 points in a meet at Pavilion on Saturday.
Cassidy Ludwig won two events Saturday to lead Shadow Ridge’s girls swim team to a 165-121 victory over Arbor View at Pavilion.
Shea Hamilton singled home Humberto Maldonado with one out in the top of the seventh on Saturday to give Spring Valley’s baseball team a 2-1 road win over Faith Lutheran in the Bengal Varsity Tournament.
