Basic’s boys cross country had four of the top six finishers, including race winner Steven Birch, on its way to victory in a Southeast League meet at Foothill on Wednesday.

Brandon Scott was 3-0 in singles, and Seanquoine Walker and Connor Jarvis were 3-0 in doubles on Wednesday to help Chaparral’s boys tennis team to a 10-8 win at Boulder City.
