Outlook: The Cougars welcome back nine letter winners, including state qualifiers in Bunting (400, 1600 relay), Tripp (400, 1600 relay), Escarzaga (1600, 3200, 3200 relay) and Mejia (1600, 3200, 3200 relay).

"Both the boys and the girls are working to win their first division championship," Fermon said. "We're looking for an exciting season."
