ROUNDUP: Quartet paces Diamondback girls in win at Bonanza

Four athletes each won two events to lift Desert Oasis’ girls track and field team to a 94-52 victory at Bonanza on Tuesday.

Trini Morgan won the 100-meter dash in 13.3 seconds and the 200 in 27.3 for the Diamondbacks.

Cassidy Motis took the triple jump at 29 feet, 1 inch, and the pole vault at 6-6, and teammate Terina Nuck was first in the shot put at 30-7½ and the discus at 79-3.

Jasmine Zachodni won the 100 hurdles in 18.2 and the 300 hurdles in 54.7.

Bonanza’s Emily Adams won the 1,600 in 6:08.6 and the 3,200 in 13:40. Teammate Bree Hammel was first in the 400 and the long jump at 14-6½.

Puente leads Grizzlies to victory
At Sierra Vista, Dannica Puente won the 1,600 in 6:03.8 and the 3,200 in 12:39 to lead Spring Valley to victory in a four-team meet.

Spring Valley had 100 points to top Sierra Vista (86), The Meadows (36) and Western (34).

Sierra Vista’s Tyler Sanders finished first in the 200, and won the high jump at 5-2.

Western’s Sydney Pavageau won the shot put at 31-8 and the discus at 89-8.

Melton, Butler lift Wildcats to victory
At Las Vegas High, Breanna Melton and Shaleea Butler won two events apiece to lift the host Wildcats to victory in a tri-meet.

Melton won the 100 hurdles in 17.1 and the 300 hurdles in 51.5, and Butler took the 400 in 1:09.2 and the long jump at 13-2½.

Las Vegas scored 84 points, topping Boulder City (62) and Chaparral (26).

Boulder City’s Nuria Garba won the triple jump at 28-5 and tied for first in the high jump at 4-6.

Trio leads Gators to easy win
At Green Valley, Caitlin Brickley, Courtney Thomas and Kristen Pinkelman won two events apiece as the Gators routed Basic, 116-28.

Brickley swept the hurdles, winning the 100 hurdles in 17.3 and the 300 hurdles in 51.7. Thomas was first in the long jump (16-1½) and triple jump (33-8), and Pinkelman won the discus (87-4) and shot put (33-3).

Palo Verde cruises to tri-meet win
At Palo Verde, three athletes won two events apiece to help the Panthers dominate a four-team meet.

Dominique Bryant won the 100 in 12.6 and the 200 in 26.1 for Palo Verde. Ashlie Blake took the shot put at 41-7 and the discus at 116-10 for the Panthers, and teammate Nicole Ameli won the long jump at 15-5½ and the triple jump at 32-2.

Palo Verde racked up 145 points, topping Shadow Ridge (95), Mojave (20) and Indian Springs (12).
