Trio of champs lead Bulldogs to Desert Invite title
Centennial’s wrestling team placed three individual champions Saturday to capture the team title of the Desert Invitational at Indian Springs.
Centennial’s Alec Gonzales won the 103-pound title with a 16-0 technical fall. Brady Howell won an 11-2 decision at 125, and Lawrence Easley captured the 189 title with a second-period pin for the Bulldogs, who finished with 122 team points.
Pahrump Valley was second with 96, and Legacy finished third at 77.
