A few hours with a very busy John Chachas

A Review-Journal reporter and photographer recently spent the day with Republican U.S. Senate candidate John Chachas. The New York investment banker and Ely native has returned to Nevada for his first bid at public office. The day started on the Heidi Harris Show on KDWN-AM, 720. Chachas met some business associates at the famous Copper Queen casino motel, took care of a few things at his childhood home that he purchased from his parents, spoke briefly to the White Pine County commission, met with Ely republicans, visited with family, shook a couple hands in the streets of Ely, then left for Reno.
