Arrest made in December shooting at Larry’s Villa strip club

A man wanted in a December shooting at a local strip club was arrested Sunday by Las Vegas police.

Prentis Williams III, 30, was booked on attempted murder and other charges in the shooting at Larry’s Villa, 2401 W. Bonanza Road, that wounded four people.

In the Dec. 14 incident, Mikel Hill was shot four times, including once in the head, during an argument over Williams’ refusal to shake his hand, an arrest report said.

Three other people were shot before Williams escaped in a Dodge Charger, according to police.

Williams has convictions in California in 2003 for carrying a loaded firearm and three counts of taking a vehicle without owner’s consent.
