Brad Pitt, 48, fan of ‘The Immortal’
Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie celebrated his birthday in Las Vegas on Saturday with their six children and their first look at "The Immortal," Cirque du Soleil's Michael Jackson tribute at Mandalay Bay.
Pitt, who turns 48 today, is known to be a Jackson fan. He not only wore one of Jackson's "Beat It" T-shirts while filming "Mr. and Mrs. Smith" in 2005 -- where the Pitt-Jolie romance blossomed -- but there are reports he showed off his Jackson dance moves to the film crew.
Like Jackson, Pitt and Jolie have a history of bringing their children to Las Vegas for fun and games. They were with their three adopted children, Maddox, Pax and Zahara, and three biological children, Shiloh, Knox and Vivienne.
Pitt was nominated for a Golden Globe for best actor for his portrayal of a baseball executive in "Moneyball." The film followed the unorthodox approach by Oakland A's general manager Billy Beane.
Jolie, 37, just made her directorial feature debut with "In the Land of Blood and Honey," which is set during the Bosnian War. It is a love story about a Serb soldier who falls in love with a Bosnian prisoner .
BRITNEY'S NIGHT OUT
Britney Spears' big night out in Las Vegas on Friday had a chocolate and champagne theme.
After being presented with a gazillion calorie engagement cake at a small gathering on Planet Hollywood Resort's mezzanine, Spears and her fiancé, Jason Trawick, celebrated at Paris Las Vegas with a 6-foot-high chocolate fountain before capping their night with Dom Perignon champagne at Paris' Chateau nightclub.
They ended up back at Planet Hollywood in a 50th-floor suite that provided a romantic view of the Eiffel Tower and Bellagio's dancing fountains.
Their evening was a combination celebration of their engagement and Trawick's 40th birthday. She turned 30 two weeks ago.
Spears requested the Chocolate Lounge be closed for their private dinner. She and Trawick dined in a booth by themselves, while her managers and bodyguards had dinner nearby.
Trawick quite clearly has a chocolate addiction, because Spears also ordered spicy hot chocolate truffles, which were prepared by Sugar Factory pastry chef Ana Funes .
When the lovebirds got to Chateau, a chocolate red velvet cake and bubbly awaited. A Chateau rep said Spears and Trawick paid about $35,000 for the dual celebration, including $10,000 for the chocolate fountain and $2,000 for apparel in the Sugar Factory retail store.

Imperial Palace headliner Frank Marino can't remember the last time he was home for Christmas. For the 27th year he headed off to a Disney adventure park to celebrate Christmas. He left for Paris on Thursday. "One year I even did a Disney cruise. Two places I could live, Las Vegas and Disney World," said Marino, who produces and stars in "Divas Las Vegas."
SIGHTINGS
Teen singing sensation Justin Bieber, getting challenged to a dance-off by 11-year-old DJ Robbie Q of KYDZ radio on Friday. Robbie Q reminded Bieber he had given the DJ a so-so score of seven for a hair flip the last time Bieber went on the radio show. So they settled matters with a dance-off that included UNLV's Hey Reb mascot. Bieber, in town to make a $100,000 donation to Whitney Elementary, declared Robbie Q the winner. It's already on YouTube .
