After a cool, windy first half of the week, Las Vegas can expect temperatures to warm to 80 by the weekend, the National Weather Service said.
The high temperature Wednesday was 67 degrees in the afternoon and winds peaked at 11 mph, meteorologist Andy Gorelow said. Thursday's high is expected to be 75 degrees, Friday's high is expected to be 78 degrees and Saturday's high is forecast at 80 degrees, he said.
Skies will be mostly clear with scattered high clouds and winds will be 5 to 10 mph the next three days, Gorelow said.
