Two suspects arrested in connection with Nellis Suites homicide

Metro police have arrested two suspects in connection with a homicide Tuesday at the Nellis Suites.

Colton Brantano and Sherri Esquibel, both 21, turned themselves in Friday at an attorney's office. Brantano faces charges of murder and assault with a deadly weapon and kidnapping, and Esquibel faces a charge of harboring, concealing or aiding a felony offender, according to a Metro news release.

Brantano allegedly shot and killed 24-year-old Tyler Louis White during a dispute Tuesday night.

White's mother, Holly Miller, said she forgave Brantano during a Wednesday night vigil for her son.

"His parents lost a child the same day I did," she said, "and forgiveness, that's what Ty would want. He's in his own prison."
