Life Is Beautiful festival forced to move entrance

The Life is Beautiful festival closed down its main entrance to move it one street over Sunday evening after an incident at 6th Street and Carson Avenue.

Steve Flynn, a spokesman for the festival, said it was a minor structural incident. A post set up near the main entrance fell over, and though no one was injured, festival officials decided to move the entrance to 7th Street.

The move was to ensure safety and efficiency, said Flynn.
