USS Nevada reunion wraps up at Nevada State Museum — VIDEO

A special week long reunion of surviving members of the crew of the U.S.S. Nevada wrapped up on Thursday February 11th at the Nevada State Museum. 

An exhibit to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the battleship, which was commissioned on March 16, 1916, is on display through Memorial Day.

A few of the artifacts include the ship’s wheel and bell, a battle flag  and a magnesium box donated by the state of Nevada to crew members that contained over $2300 in silver dollars.
