Moped rider killed in Henderson collision

A moped rider was killed in a Henderson crash Saturday night, police said.

Just before 9 p.m., police received a call reporting a collision between a moped and a car near the intersection of Warm Springs and Eastgate roads, Henderson Police spokeswoman Michelle French said. The driver of the car called to report the crash to police, and remained on scene, French said.

The moped rider, identified only as a male, was pronounced dead on the scene, French said.

Warm Springs Road was closed Saturday night from Eastgate Road to Boulder Highway, French said.
