Airline offers 50k euros per killed Germanwings passenger
According to CNN, Lufthansa and its insurers have already started the process of determining how to compensate the families of victims. Experts estimate it will cost the airline up to a billion dollars total.

BERLIN — German airline Lufthansa has offered to pay up to 50,000 euros in immediate financial assistance per passenger on the crashed plane of its subsidiary Germanwings, a spokeswoman told Reuters on Friday.
