Alabama man dies in western Arizona motorcycle accident

A Westover, Alabama resident was killed Sunday in a motorcycle accident in western Arizona. The Department of Public Safety said Brian Carter Brown, 49, died at the scene of the 11:14 a.m. accident about 15 miles south of Lake Havasu City.

DPS said Brown was southbound on state Route 95 when he lost control along a curve and crashed his motorcycle along a dirt shoulder of the highway, just north of the Bill Williams River bridge. Brown was not wearing a helmet.
