Marin County party devolves into bloody chaos

MILL VALLEY, Calif. — Three people were arrested at a teenage drug party in Marin County that devolved into chaos after a boy had an LSD-induced seizure and other partygoers became violent, authorities said.

Paramedics responded to reports of a seizure at the vacant house early Sunday and said they found a blood-covered 16-year-old boy with “superhuman strength” blocking their entry to the house.

The boy spit blood on the paramedics, and other blood-covered partygoers became combative, so the medics called in sheriff’s deputies, the Marin Independent Journal reported.

Investigators also found marijuana, cocaine, heroin and a drug similar to Ecstasy called DMD.

A teenage girl at the party was the daughter of the homeowner. The house was empty because her parents had put it up for sale, and the girl had obtained the keys and invited more than a dozen people to a party, authorities said.

They cited the girl under a county ordinance that prohibits hosting parties involving illegal conduct that constitutes a threat to the public safety or welfare of underage people.

The 16-year-old and two 18-year-olds were arrested on suspicion of being under the influence, resisting arrest and other charges. Their names were not released.
