“Pink Heals tour” brings women’s cancer awareness to the Strip

The Pink Heals “Cares Enough to Wear Pink” movement came through town Monday, Oct. 8 complete with a pink fire uniforms and a pink fire truck. The nonprofit organization supports and raises awareness for women who are suffering from all types of cancer, not just breast, doesn't take donations but rather encourages donations to local cancer centers. The Pink Heals tour, which is traveling through about 50 cities, set up shop on the Strip Monday as a component of the Hard Rock’s 13th annual Pinktober campaign.
