Two brothers held in slaying of 68-year-old man

Las Vegas police arrested two brothers this week in connection with the slaying of a 68-year-old man who was found dead Saturday in his condominium near Rainbow and Oakey boulevards.

A police report identified the victim as Brian Haskell.

Police found Haskell’s body at his condo in the Paseo Del Rey complex on Santa Margarita Street.

According to Clark County Detention Center records, Will Sitton, 46, was arrested Monday. His brother, Robert Sitton, 32, was arrested today. Both face charges of first-degree murder and robbery and are being held without bail.

According to the police report, a woman who was dating Will Sitton moved in with Haskell in late August. Haskell and the woman weren’t getting along, the report said. Haskell was upset at the woman for going into his room and invading his privacy. The woman accused Haskell of making passes at her and grabbing her buttocks.

She told her boyfriend, who threatened to “slap Haskell around,” the report said.

It said neighbors saw the woman move out of Haskell’s condo Oct. 29 with help from the brothers.

The woman, who spoke with police, said she saw both Will Sitton and his brother go into Haskell’s bedroom and close the door the day she was moving out.

Bloody footprints were found on Haskell’s body, according to the report.
