Woman killed in car crash identified

The woman who died after her car crashed into a chain-link fence Monday night died of natural causes, according to the Clark County coroner’s office.

Aleta M. Doran, 68, was driving slowly in a parking lot at 2875 Nellis Blvd. when she had a medical episode and ran her car into a fence just after 9:30 p.m.

Doran was transported to Desert Springs Hospital where she was pronounced dead. The coroner’s office said the Las Vegas resident died from athroscleroic cardiovascular disease and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease.
