Ziering reunites ‘90210’ players
You crazy “Beverly Hills, 90210” fans might finally get your reunion wish. The 1990s cast might get together in Las Vegas to watch one of their own go topless.
Ian Ziering (who played Steve Sanders) started dancing in the Rio’s “Chippendales: The Show” on Saturday to much acclaim from ladies and the press.
On Monday, he was on “Good Morning America” and “E!” Someone from Germany’s People magazine is flying here to see Ziering strip.
Later this week, he will be on “Extra” and then on “Access Hollywood” with Chippendales Jaymes Vaughan and James Davis of “The Amazing Race.”
Anyway, Ziering, 49, has received confirmation from fellow “90210” stars Luke Perry (who played Dylan), Jason Priestley (Brandon) and Jennie Garth (Kelly) that they will come see him in “Chippendales.”
He is waiting for confirmation from Shannen Doherty (Brenda) and Gabrielle Carteris (Andrea). He also is reaching out to Tiffani-Amber Thiessen (Valerie).
The actors are looking at their schedules to see whether arriving in Vegas together is possible.
The Rio (or Caesars) would be insane not to offer them VIP suites and incentives because “90210” fans are intense and far-flung. The show was a hit in 150 countries.
This weekend, women were screaming “Steve Sanders” and trying to show Ziering their own this or that.
Ziering is happily married with two kids. His family is coming to Vegas next week.
He has lost 25 pounds and about 7 percent body fat since March, adhering to a strict diet and two workouts a day (CrossFit and “beach muscle” weight-training).
“Chippendales” has not offered dancing gigs to other guys from “90210.”
But Ziering’s success could make it easier to attract other TV stars of yesteryear. My suggestions: James Marsters (Spike) or Nicholas Brendon (Xander) from “Buffy the Vampire Slayer.”

UFC COMPETITION: The UFC broke ties with the Palms after the hotel put a gambling limit on UFC leader Dana White. So today at the hotel’s Heraea restaurant, the hotel will have a news conference to detail a different mixed martial arts event. King of the Cage (based in California) will debut the World Amateur Championships in October at the Palms.
ROCK FINGERS: Vegas Rocks magazine, run by rock star-connected Sally Steele, will put on another annual show, this time Aug. 25 at the Hard Rock Hotel, featuring classic rockers Jon Anderson, Carl Palmer, Zakk Wylde, Geoff Tate and musicians from the bands Dio, AC/DC, the Scorpions, Great White and others.
HELPING HAND: People donated $6,000 to the Maria Flores Family Memorial Fund on Saturday during performances at downtown’s Backstage Bar & Billiards on East Fremont Street. Flores and her 17-year-old daughter were killed June 1, and the mother’s boyfriend was charged with two counts of murder.
FAMOUS TOURIST: Atlanta rapper 2 Chainz wrote on Twitter that he and his security detail got in an elevator in Vegas the other day, and “this old white couple” said to them, “You guys must be star athletes!” 2 Chainz thought this was funny, saying “its (sic) all good.”
SHE’S BACK: Paris Hilton partied Saturday at Mandalay Bay’s new Daylight pool/dayclub, then partied that night at the hotel’s new Light nightclub. She was here with boyfriend River Viiperi, 21, and Cheryl Burke for socialite Allison Melnick’s birthday.
CBS GUY: Comedian Billy Gardell of “Mike & Molly” took his wife, Patty, to Gordon Ramsay Steak at the Paris on Saturday for glasses of Beaujolais wine and plates of salad, shrimp cocktails, halibut, Kobe filet and Sticky Toffee Pudding. Then they saw “Jersey Boys.”
