A 7-year-old dies at the border

Letter writer Jack Oliver blamed the parents for the death of the 7-year old Guatemalan girl who died while in the custody of the U.S. Border Patrol after making a 1,000-mile trek from her homeland. I can’t help but wonder what Mr. Oliver would have done if he and his child needed to escape near-certain death at the hands of bloodthirsty gangs.
