Forget about repealing Obamacare

Recent letter writer Galen Richter complained that Republicans failed several times to repeal and replace Obamacare. But he ignored that it took a bipartisan effort to defeat those efforts.

Instead of whining how bad Obamacare is, perhaps he could encourage Republicans to cease their doomed efforts to “repeal and replace” and join Democrats in their desire to repair. The Affordable Care Act is helping the majority of people using it. Only by fixing the things that are causing harm to some will that harm stop.
