LETTER: Electric vehicle subsidies remain alive

Your Thursday editorial asks: Why do Democrats “agitate to continue subsidizing automakers by offering tax credits for electric vehicle owners, most of whom are well-off?”

The unwritten rule is as old as the American constitutional republic: Once government gives something to people, it can’t take it away.
