The latest government spending bill for infrastructure is $1 trillion (Wednesday Review-Journal). Nevada is home to approximately 1 percent of the nation’s population. So our fair share would be $10 billion. It appears we are going to get about $3 billion. Can you imagine selling your $400,000 house and getting $120,000? That’s what is happening to all Nevadans. Vote out our ineffective senators and congressional representatives.
In-state studies in Nevada concluded it’s a long-term loser for taxpayers.
Once again the main issue is lost as Congress bumbles about when it comes to funding the federal government.
I recently went to the Mandalay Bay to watch the amazing Las Vegas Aces play. The parking fees were outrageous.
This seems to me as good a reason as any to cancel this boondoggle.

Although our illustrious leaders (tongue in cheek) believe that breaking everything down into little categories keeps us from knowing how they nickel-and-dime us to death, it doesn’t elude us.
So what to do? Return to the old ways and watch the scores improve.
