Pie to the face for local principal should be no laughing matter

It staggers the imagination that, as shown in a recent section-front photo in the Review-Journal, first-grade students were allowed to splatter their principal and assistant principal with whipped cream pies. It’s a breakdown of respect for the dignity of the office, wrong of the school and wrong of the parents to condone such behavior. Then we wonder why kids go bad.
