Solutions for easing congestion on the Las Vegas Strip

If responsible agencies are serious about alleviating congestion around the Strip, here are a few solutions:

1) Disallow the billboard trucks. These vehicles take up the space of three cars, always move slower than the ambient traffic by design and are actually purposed to be a distraction. Additionally, they cause unnecessary maneuvers by drivers who have real destinations.

2) Disallow the thousands of Uber and Lyft drivers from cruising the Strip and hotels looking for a “ping.” The huge redundancy of staged taxis and limos is more than enough to handle even the largest events.

3) Reconfigure the Frank Sinatra and Dean Martin northbound intersection to eliminate the single-lane bottleneck and allow two lanes to continue northbound.

I realize that the two of these solutions are politically hot issues. Maybe someone can at least get the Frank Sinatra disaster fixed?
