Pictures and director Todd Phillips say the embattled actor won’t be appearing in the sequel to the popular ensemble comedy. Gibson’s cameo role as a tattoo artist in the film was announced earlier this week.
Unemployment in Las Vegas jumped to a record 15 percent, an important statistical — and emotional — threshold. The September figure is up from 14.7 percent in August, according to numbers released this morning by the state Department of Employment, Training & Rehabilitation. Statewide unemployment was unchanged from at 14.4 percent.
