Reporter vows revenge on Rangers shortstop after Gatorade shower

Apparently, you can mess with Texas, as Fox Sports Southwest reporter Emily Jones found out the hard way Sunday when she was soaked in a celebratory postgame Gatorade shower during her postgame interview with Josh Hamilton after the Rangers outfielder drilled a walkoff, pinch-hit, two-run double in Texas’ 4-3 win over the Red Sox.

Despite getting completely drenched, Jones pretty much took the stunt in stride and continued her interview with Hamilton, who handed her a towel and helped her dry off a little.

However, after realizing her dress would never recover, she vowed revenge on Rangers shortstop Elvis Andrus, one of the culprits, on Twitter, where she posted a photo of the stained dress.

“RIP this dress,” she posted. “You better watch your back @ElvisandrusSS1 #revengewillbemine.”

On second thought, maybe you shouldn’t mess with Texas.
