Auburn at Clemson: Auburn is on a 12-26 slide against the spread, and coach Gus Malzahn is 4-8 ATS in his past 12 games as an underdog. Clemson coach Dabo Swinney is 15-13-1 ATS since 2015 but has covered his past eight vs. FBS nonconference foes. Edge: Clemson.

Georgia at Notre Dame: Fighting Irish coach Brian Kelly is 3-5 ATS in his past eight at South Bend, Indiana, and is 2-5 ATS in his second game of the season. Bulldogs coach Kirby Smart is 7-7 ATS. Edge: Slight to Georgia.

Oklahoma at Ohio State: The Sooners are 11-4 ATS in their past 15 as a visitor. Buckeyes coach Urban Meyer is 5-9 ATS as home chalk the past two seasons. Edge: Slight to Oklahoma.

Memphis at Central Florida: Memphis is on a 3-8 spread slide and 2-6 ATS in its past eight away from the Liberty Bowl. Central Florida is on a 4-1 ATS run as a home favorite and has won its past nine meetings against the Tigers. Edge: Central Florida.

Stanford at Southern California: The Cardinal have won and covered their past three meetings with the Trojans and have won seven of the past nine. Stanford is 11-3 ATS in its past 14 against USC. Cardinal coach David Shaw is 8-2-1 ATS as a ’dog, and Stanford is on a 14-2-1 ATS run in its past 17 road games. Edge: Stanford.

UNLV at Idaho: The Rebels are 13-6 as road ’dogs the past four seasons but 5-13 ATS overall in their past 18 under coach Tony Sanchez. The Vandals covered their past eight games in 2016 and pushed ATS in their 2017 season opener. Edge: Idaho.

Utah at Brigham Young: The Utes entered this season 12-4 ATS as a visitor since 2014 and have won their past six meetings against BYU. Edge: Utah.

Florida Atlantic at Wisconsin: Owls coach Lane Kiffin is on a 4-15 ATS skid. Florida Atlantic also is in a 8-19-2 ATS slump and was 1-4 ATS as a double-digit ’dog last year. Badgers coach Paul Chryst is 4-1 ATS laying 20 or more, and Wisconsin is 13-6 ATS in its past 19 nonconference games. Edge: Wisconsin.

Eastern Michigan at Rutgers: Eastern Michigan is 9-2 ATS in its past 11 as a ’dog, and the Eagles also were 7-1 ATS away from Ypsilanti, Michigan, last year. Rutgers is 9-16 ATS since 2015. Edge: Eastern Michigan.

Cincinnati at Michigan: Cincinnati is on a 3-11 ATS slide and is 1-7 in its past eight as a ’dog. Wolverines coach Jim Harbaugh was 5-6 laying double digits in 2016, but Michigan is 7-1 ATS in its past eight home openers. Edge: Michigan.

New Mexico State at New Mexico: The Lobos are 0-2-1 ATS in the past three meetings, and coach Bob Davie is 3-7 as a home favorite the past two seasons. The Aggies are 8-4 ATS in their past 12 as a double-digit ’dog. Edge: New Mexico State.

Texas State at Colorado: The Bobcats are on an 8-17 spread skid and a 3-7 ATS slide as a double-digit ’dog. Colorado coach Mike MacIntyre was 4-1 as double-digit chalk in 2016, and the Buffaloes are 15-5 ATS in their past 20 at Folsom Field. Edge: Colorado.

Indiana at Virginia: Indiana is 6-2 ATS in its past eight nonconference road games. Virginia coach Bronco Mendenhall has dropped his past four ATS and six of seven. Edge: Indiana.

Pitt at Penn State: Revenge for Nittany Lions coach James Franklin after last year’s 42-39 loss. Penn State has covered 11 straight games, including its past six at Beaver Stadium. The Panthers are 6-3 ATS as a visiting ’dog the past two years but 11-16 overall ATS since 2015. Edge: Penn State.

Fresno State at Alabama: Crimson Tide coach Nick Saban is on ATS slides of 1-4 and 3-7 in his second game of the season since arriving at Alabama in 2007. He’s also 2-5-1 ATS at home in his past eight nonconference games. Fresno State coach Jeff Tedford was a good ’dog early in his career at California, and the Bulldogs have covered seven of their past 10. Edge: Fresno State.

Tulane at Navy: The Midshipmen are 12-3 ATS in their past 15 at Annapolis, Maryland, and 4-2 laying double digits since 2015. Edge: Navy.

Western Kentucky at Illinois: The Fighting Illini are 3-7 ATS in their past 10 at home and 4-8 ATS in their past 12 nonconference games. The Hilltoppers are on a 12-6-1 ATS run. Edge: Western Kentucky.

Toledo at UNR: Wolf Pack coach Jay Norvell’s home debut. UNR is 10-3 ATS in its past 13 as double-digit ’dogs. The Rockets are 2-8 ATS in their past 10. Edge: UNR.
