Second federal lawsuit filed in Manny Pacquiao’s shoulder injury

Another class-action lawsuit was filed in Las Vegas Wednesday over the failure to disclose Manny Pacquiao’s shoulder injury prior to his fight Saturday night with Floyd Mayweather at the MGM Grand Garden.

The federal suit, filed by Robert Neidl, a New Jersey man who bought the fight on pay-per-view, seeks damages under Nevada’s Deceptive Trade Practices Act.

Named as defendants are Top Rank Inc., promoter Bob Arum, Mayweather Promotions, Mayweather and Pacquiao himself.

Clark County ticket holders Staphane Vanel and Kami Rahbaran filed a similar class-action suit in federal court on Tuesday, against Pacquiao, Top Rank, Arum and other defendants.
