Broncos top poll as America’s new favorite team

The Dallas Cowboys are no longer America’s favorite team, a title the team held for the last six years, according to ESPN.com. The Denver Broncos have claimed the new top spot.

The results come from The Harris Poll, which surveyed 2,543 adults from Sept. 10-17, and only 1,275 of those adults said they followed the NFL, according to ESPN.com.

The Broncos are followed on the poll results by The New York Giants and the Green Bay Packers. The Cowboys dropped to the fourth spot.

Interestingly, the current Super Bowl champs, the Seattle Seahawks, came in sixth in the poll.
