Celebrity friends Chris Evans and Chris Pratt — one a New England Patriots fan and the other a Seattle Seahawks fan — have a pretty funny Super Bowl bet going.
“Well, well, well @prattprattpratt, looks like our teams are going into battle. For the next 2 weeks, you are not my friend, you are my enemy,” Evans, a Patriots fan, tweeted Monday.
And Pratt was quick to return the banter and defend his team, the Seahawks.
“@ChrisEvans We both know there’s only one Captain America and his name is Russell Wilson. #SuperBowlBound #LOB #Repeat,” Pratt replied.
And then the wager-talk started.
“@ChrisEvans OK. Seahawks win you fly yourself to Seattle, visit @seattlechildren hospital as Captain America, waving the 12th man flag,” Pratt tweeted.
Evans, who played Captain America in “Captain America: The First Avenger,” “The Avengers” and “Captain America: The Winter Soldier,” accepted the wager on Wednesday, but not without naming his own stakes for Pratt, who played Star-Lord in “Guardians of the Galaxy.”
“@prattprattpratt I accept. And when the Patriots humiliate your seachickens, I expect Star-Lord to arrive at @chris_haven in a Brady jersey.”
The Patriots and Seahawks face off in Super Bowl XLIX on Feb. 1.
