Colorado Rapids to host 2015 MLS All-Star Game

The Colorado Rapids will play host to the 2015 Major League Soccer All-Star Game at Dick’s Sporting Goods Park, a spokeswoman for Commerce City, site of the stadium, confirmed to the Denver Post on Monday.

An official announcement along with the date of the game is expected by MLS commissioner Don Garber on Wednesday.

All-Star Game activities are expected to be split between Commerce City and Denver. The Rapids also played host to the event in 2007 in a match between MLS All-Stars and Scottish club Celtic, which the MLS All-Stars won 2-0.
