At least when it comes to their caps.
The newest member of the Pacific Coast League has the best cap in minor league baseball according to more than 2 million voters in an online poll.
The Las Vegas 51s’ alien cap finished No. 36 among the top 101 caps. Which isn’t bad, considering the alien cap design is 13 years old.
In a related note, the batting helmet worn by Las Vegas manager Wally Backman when he coaches third base once again did not make the list.
