How to watch Thursday Night Football Week 1: Panthers at Broncos
September 8, 2016 - 10:15 am
The week that NFL fans wait for all year long has arrived — the 2016 season kicks off tonight.
The first Thursday Night Football game of the season is, of course, a Super Bowl rematch as the Carolina Panthers visit the Denver Broncos at Sports Authority Field.
The Broncos enter the season as the reigning Super Bowl champions, but the offense has a new on-field leader in quarterback Trevor Siemian following the retirement of Peyton Manning.
The Panthers are led by quarterback Cam Newton and will have to try to overcome a Super Bowl loss hangover in Week 1.
In the last three meetings between the two sides, the Broncos have dominated with two of the three wins.
