Nine-hundred-ninety-three days after the groundbreaking ceremony on Nov. 13, 2017, on what was then a 62-acre lot of dirt, the $2 billion Allegiant Stadium now holds its own on the Las Vegas skyline.

Clark County has issued a temporary certificate of occupancy for Allegiant Stadium, signaling the end of the construction process is near.
The street sign bearing the name of Al Davis, the legendary former owner and head coach of the Raiders, was installed last week off Dean Martin Drive.
The deal, announced Monday, includes nine off-premise digital billboards for general advertising as they commute between Allegiant stadium and McCarran International Airport, as well as the digital marquee sign set for exclusive use by Allegiant Stadium.
The company tasked with installing the majority of signs, Yesco, is capping off its work at the stadium with a trio of the largest of the hundreds of signs they’re installing on the site.
Those looking to work inside the nearly complete $2 billion, 65,000-seat Allegiant Stadium still have time to apply for various game-day positions.
Only a small amount of work remains at the $2 billion Allegiant Stadium ahead of its July 31 substantial completion date.
With 37 days until the July 31 substantial completion date, the Raiders were already running inside Allegiant Stadium Wednesday — well, sort of.
In what is the first “super” event that is hoped to take place in the nearly complete Allegiant Stadium, crews tested an important game-day feature, the plumbing system.
The positions are in the fields of hospitality, food service, security, ticketing, customer service and custodial, with six employers hiring, including the Raiders, Silver & Black Hospitality and ASM Global.
Crews at Allegiant Stadium gave an artificial glimpse Wednesday of what the 65,000-seat facility will look like on Raiders game days.
The 85-foot Al Davis memorial torch that spans multiple levels of the stadium could be seen towering over the main entrance on the north end of the $2 billion stadium.
With under two months until the July 31 substantial completion date, Mark Davis said it’ll probably be a photo finish.
Crews began rolling out the sod Wednesday for the natural grass field the Raiders will play on inside Allegiant Stadium.
Allegiant Stadium will be a very popular destination for the 2020 NFL season as the Raiders kickoff their inaugural season in Las Vegas.
