Hide your kids! Bob Knight is coming to town

The good news for UNLV basketball fans is that Wednesday night’s home game against New Mexico will be broadcast nationally on ESPN2.

This is what Rebel fans were clamoring for in the dark years the conference served in purgatory on The Mountain.

There is one drawback, though.

Rebel fans might want to hide their kids from the scary man that will provide color commentary on the game broadcast.

Yes, that’s right, Bob Knight is coming to town.

Kids may not remember Knight as the legendary coach at Indiana, but that probably won’t stop parents from trying to push their children to Knight’s side for a photo.

Maybe this item from sports blog Busted Coverage will change that. They posted a collection of fan photos with Knight posted to social media from Knight’s visit to the Midwest to call the Saint Louis victory over Virginia Commonwealth on Saturday.

Clearly, Knight wasn’t thrilled to take the photos.

Here’s a challenge to our readers. Find one hint of joy in any of the photos linked here. (Warning, NSFW language on the site is only slightly edited.)

Any happiness at all? Is it really necessary to be that glum all the time? Or is Knight just trying to play up to his reputation?

On second thought, everybody make sure to ask coach for a photo Wednesday.
