Local kid gets bloodied up during Memphis-BYU brawl

A fight broke out after Memphis beat Brigham Young 55-48 in double overtime in today’s inaugural Miami Beach Bowl.

It was a pretty big fight, as football fights go.

One of the players who got bloodied up was Kai Nacua, a sophomore defensive back for the Cougars who played high school football at Liberty.

Nacua was shown throwing punches from behind at one of the Memphis players, No. 40. This was after Nacua’s face had started to bleed.

It was one of those unfortunate incidents, as the anouncers always say. It was so unfortunate that 15 minutes after the game there already were five versions of it posted on YouTube.
