Mets pitcher Noah Syndergaard wants part in Amy Schumer movie

If this baseball thing doesn't work out, maybe New York Mets rookie pitcher Noah Syndergaard will take up acting.

After watching LeBron James' critically-acclaimed performance in Amy Schumer's hit comedy movie, "Trainwreck," Syndergaard reached out to Schumer about a role.

"Hey @amyschumer, next time you make a movie and need a 6'6" extra I'm available," he tweeted. "I can blend in anywhere. #LGM."

Schumer played coy, sending a simple "#LGM" to Syndergaard, which stands for "Let's Go Mets!"

The ex-51s ace doesn't have any acting experience, but he's already known as "Thor" and could pass for "Rocky IV" villain Ivan Drago's son. Depending on how the Mets' season plays out, Syndergaard could be a natural for "Trainwreck II."
