UFC light heavyweight champion Daniel Cormier expressed concern about Herb Dean serving as the referee for his title rematch against Jon Jones at UFC 197.

During his license hearing at the Nevada Athletic Commission meeting, UFC light heavyweight champion Daniel Cormier said he has a “little issue” with Herb Dean refereeing his title rematch against Jon Jones.

UFC 197 will take place in Las Vegas on Apr. 23 at the MGM Grand Garden Arena. Cormier’s title defense against Jones will serve as the main event.
